Last week, news about RedOctane slipped up and posted news on Guitar Hero 3. Thought of only as rumors, they were outright confirmed by RedOctane president Kai Huang. It is being released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii by the end of the year. And unlike the disappointment that came with Guitar Hero 2 for the 360, the bar has been lifted and this one will be completely wireless.
Nothing but silence as far as the tracklist goes, but Huang dropped a teaser:
"We've got a lot of songs and artists still that we would love to have, in particular, we've been trying to get Metallica, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin, so hopefully sometime in the near future, my wish, and everybody's wish, will come true, and we can get some of their music in the game."
He also dropped one more surprise which comes as quite a shocker. A version of Guitar Hero for the Nintendo DS is planned to be released early in 2008. This comes as rather interesting news and I'll be looking for new developments.
